I pursue the archaic or “shamanic” methods of art making. My paintings literally reflect the meta-pathologies and archetypes that ghost through dimensions, like mirrors of context and consciousness. Shamanic painting bridges the immediacy of abstract expressionism with the refined development of classical rendering. Each artwork becomes a record-artifact of psychedellic invocation and exorcism.

Shamanic painting converts the deafening static of abstract reality into applicable visual information; this is it’s great value. It is a method to express the forces that compose us and that impose upon us, and from there we can make choices about how to live with greater awareness. Continually refined perception, holistic expression, and idealism define my practice.
